Synthesis of graphene-based nanosheets via chemical reduction of exfoliated graphite

Discount of a colloidal suspension of exfoliated graphene oxide sheets in water with hydrazine hydrate ends in their aggregation and subsequent formation of a high-surface-area carbon materials which consists of skinny graphene-based sheets. The decreased materials was characterised by elemental evaluation, thermo-gravimetric evaluation, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, NMR spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, and by electrical conductivity measurements.
